Dear Colleagues,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am Dr. Osama Abdul-Rahman Owied, an Assistant Professor specializing in soil microbiology, with a strong research focus on microbial interactions, biofertilizers, and the role of soil microorganisms in enhancing plant growth and soil health.

Given the urgent need to address challenges related to soil degradation, climate change, and sustainable agriculture, I am seeking to establish an international research group dedicated to advancing knowledge and innovative solutions in soil microbial ecology. Our collaboration will focus on:

  • Exploring microbial diversity and functional roles in various soil ecosystems.
  • Investigating plant–microbe interactions for improved nutrient cycling and crop productivity.
  • Developing biofertilizers and microbial consortia for sustainable soil management.
  • Addressing climate resilience through microbial-based soil restoration strategies.

I warmly invite researchers, academicians, and practitioners from all related fields to join this initiative. Together, we can share data, design joint experiments, publish impactful research, and pursue funding opportunities for large-scale international projects.

If you are interested in contributing, please feel free to connect and send me a brief message outlining your expertise and research interests. Let us work together to create meaningful scientific advancements that will benefit agriculture and the environment globally.

Best regards, Dr. Osama Abdul-Rahman Owied Assistant Professor – Soil Microbiology Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research – Iraq
