• I'm working on a clinical trial on COVID treatment; the outcome variables include: Mortality, Hospital stay, and "COVID recovery / cure"; which i couldn't reliably define!
  • Earlier in the Pandemic, Italy was the first -and only- to use the term "Cured" [ Ministero della salute, Consiglio Superiore di Sanità, Italy (28 February 2020) ] (https://www.ecdc.europa.eu/sites/default/files/documents/COVID-19-Discharge-criteria.pdf ) defined as " resolution of symptoms and 2 negative tests for SARSCoV-2 at 24-hour intervals".
  • Negative PCR is then used interchangeably with (2 or more Consecutive "inconclusive" NP swab); but I couldn't find the source for such interpretation!

any input?
