I am in the process of starting to work on an edited book on "Global Competence in Higher Education". The purpose of the book is to put together case studies and studies from around the world on the implementation, definition, and assessment of global competency within higher education institutions.
The book could help reach consensus on a definition and a clear framework for the necessary skills that constitute a Globally competent Individual, as well as the ways to measure an individual's global competence.
