To whom interested,
I' m currently moving my research topics and field data acquisition. For this reason, I would be glad to share with relevant scientific project(s) my dataset on large vertebrate assessment in French Guiana. This dataset includes +/- 40 diurnal line-transect surveys, with a mean effort of 100 km / survey, gathered on a 1998-2014 period. Surveys were implemented in both hunted, hunted+logged, and pristine rainforests and resulted in diversity, richness, and abundances of +/- 30 mammals and large frugivorous birds. Rough data also include group sizes for social species, and sightings along the full transect length, for those interested in abundance & richness according to effort.
I used those data previously (eg, Plos One 2016, Biodiv & Conservation 2008, 2010) but I remain at the country scale. For any large-scale use, those data would be available.
If some of you are interested or want more details about the data and a possible use, please contact me,
