I need good experimental protocole for testing the insecticidal activity of some essential oils EO by contact;

I read some works that used acetone, ethanol or Tween 80 to diluate the EO in water before treating insects.

Hi, I am going to isolate genomic and plasmid DNA from algea simultaneously and manually, Do you have any suggestion?

I found a kit that they separated plasmid and genomic DNA form mammalian cell, but I want to extract both plasmid and genomic DNA manually. I also want to use the extracted DNA for qPCR.
