I hold a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Denver, with research expertise in Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality, Human-Computer Interaction, and Computer Vision. My dissertation focused on learning, training, and skill transfer from VR to the real world. I am eager to contribute to the peer-review process and support the academic community. Currently, I work as a senior software engineer on an AR-based dental implant navigation system. Scientific journals usually have a section where any PhD academic can voluntarily apply to act as a reviewer. For example, the journals of the MDPI group have a section where you can find out about the conditions you have to fulfil, and apply: https://www.mdpi.com/reviewers#_bookmark2. They have several VR-based journals.
Other large publishing groups also offer the opportunity to apply, such as Wiley (https://authorservices.wiley.com/Reviewers/journal-reviewers/becoming-a-reviewer.html/index.html) or Elsevier (https://www.elsevier.com/subject/endocrinology-diabetes-and-metabolism/journals/become-a-reviewer).
