Would you please clarify what you mean by industrial projects?

Do you mean enterprise projects as in consultancy work outside the university where your skills are utilized to provide advice, training, research for external bodies such as official, civil society and international organizations? If yes then look at these:

In my view, you can be a researcher and also a consultant by engaging in industry projects. Industry projects would be a good source to identify gaps/problems for scientific studies in the future. On the other hand, such an opportunity with the corporate community would be an avenue to test the findings of our previous research studies, I believe.
