This week, the Supreme Court of Canada handed down its landmark decision, declaring that the Tsilhqot'in claim to Title to a large extent of their traditional land is fully recognized. I would like to know whether scholars, indigenous peoples, and law and policy experts are paying attention to this historic decision. And as importantly, looking to citing it and seeking means to see its principles and practices applied in their respective countries, territories, jurisdictions, lands, etc. How important is this court decision going to be beyond Canada?
