Recently, members of Japanese Parliament are discussing on amendments of the ijime prevention law (implemented in 2013) which adds giving penalties on teachers who are reluctant to prevent bullying in their school/class.
Yuichi Toda There are clear laws about this in Norway. Teachers can be persecuted if they do not react and act against bullying and bullying situations.
From my own experience most teachers play the role of parents when students are in school especially at the elementary level. I have never seen where a teacher is reluctant to prevent bullying.
Certainly in Greece, one main responsibility of teachers is to reassure childrens' mental and physical health. This involves dealing with bullying.

In our country the teachers act as good guide and also take care like parents.
The teacher may be punished by the parents of the bullying child if the teacher tries to stop bullying him against the pupils (in some cases)
Certainly, the teacher is punished by gangs and thugs in the case of a bullying student accountable because there is no law that protects teachers and teachers in the other institutions because of chaos, the teacher is threatened by the parents of the student bullying in case of prevention
