Certainly at any time desires are brought to the future education. I assume that apart from a few general speech bubbles - such as education for the IT society - not much will come out. The effects of social developments on education are rarely conquential and usually come very late. Of course, one has to distinguish between certain demands and what actually happens.

Inclusive education looks at jeopardized children rather than mainstream. That means a highly individualized education in an open contextual atmosphere. This is what we've been looking for for ages. Measures towards inclusive ed benefit both the included and the outside ones increasing their mutual links a therefore providing educational traits and benefits for both groups alike. No question, this is the future of humanistic education.

Until there is the eradication of very divisive league tables and a desire to rank one institution against another to find "the best" (and consequently the worst!) combined with a political driver which determines curriculum content i cannot see it happening in the UK for a long time. Everything else is a compromise in trying to achieve the all inclusive school system you describe.

Too many books about inclusive education & development of inclusive societies, but when you have the oportunitty of live in Europe, you can see directly a lower percent of inclusive, open-minded school for all educators and everyone.

How can an european understand foreing peolple (they call inmigrantes) if they never have been out of there own countries?
