I think that the best method to determine the concentration of cobalt incorporated in Dawson complexes is absorption atomic spectroscopy (AAS). In order to proceed to analysis, it must to leach the cobalt metal from the material by using "regal water" and with heating. So, the obtained solution can then easily analyzed using the appropraite lamp of cobalt.
