The residuals have dropped below 1e-5, yet the current density values are still changing. Although I set other monitors to track convergence, but i still need the console values to stop changing to assess convergence. Please help me
If the values at the console in your PEMFC model are still changing after 25,000 iterations, it may indicate that the simulation has not yet converged, and further iterations may be needed.
Here are a few things you can try to improve the convergence of your model:
1. Increase the number of iterations: If your simulation is not converging after 25,000 iterations, you may need to increase the number of iterations until the results stop changing significantly. However, keep in mind that increasing the number of iterations can also increase the computational time and resources required for the simulation.
2. Check your convergence criteria: Make sure that your convergence criteria are appropriate for your model. The convergence criteria should be set such that the simulation stops when the solution has converged to a stable state. You may also need to adjust the convergence criteria if the results are not converging as expected.
3. Check your numerical methods: Check the numerical methods used in your model, such as the time integration scheme, spatial discretization method, and solver. Make sure that these methods are appropriate for your model and that they are implemented correctly.
4. Check your initial and boundary conditions: Make sure that your initial and boundary conditions are appropriate for your model. Incorrect initial or boundary conditions can cause the simulation to diverge or take longer to converge.
5. Consider refining your mesh: Refining your mesh can help improve the accuracy of your simulation and may also help improve convergence. However, keep in mind that refining the mesh will also increase the computational time and resources required for the simulation.
6. Try different solver settings: Experiment with different solver settings, such as the tolerance and maximum iterations, to see if they affect the convergence of your simulation.
Overall, improving the convergence of your PEMFC model may require a combination of these strategies. It may also require some trial and error to find the best combination of settings and methods for your particular model.
