When LTE and Wi-Fi coexisted the data will not be synchronized (most probably) and the DRX of LTE and DCF of WiFi will show an adverse effect on power.
I don't know the LTE standard, but in the case of wifi, it is a bit irrelevant. The wifi interface consumption is similar in listening that in transmission, in reception is a bit lower but the difference is not significant. The synchronization of the data with LTE does not import for the wifi respect to consumption. Only if you change the radio state to sleep you will have significant improvement in the wifi interface.
