Thank you Alvena Shahid and Dr. Kaushik Shandilya for amazing explanations. I am also synthesizing Copper Telluride with and without CTAB. I usually takes out my hydrothermal bomb after 24/36/48 hr. I keep it under the fume hood to get it in room temp. Usually, after 1-1.5 hour, when I touch hydrothermal bomb, it feels like normal room temp, but I have never noticed the temperature of the inside solution. Then, I go for the wash the material.

Is it correct to do it?

Do I need to keep it outside for more time without opening the bomb?
