While performing EIS study using equivalent circuit model, I have a constant phase element in parallel with resistor. In case of capacitor usage,we write time constant = R*C. How does the calculation of time constant change with incorporation of a constant phase element?

I hope the following can help you a bit: The RC time constant, also called tau, the time constant (in seconds) of an RC circuit, is equal to the product of the circuit resistance (in ohms) and the circuit capacitance (in farads).
