Teachers should always promote and motivate innovative and authentic ideas of students. If a student uses AI for completing his assignment in my view he/she should not be mark very well but should be motivated to read the content from anywhere but write the essay or assignment on the basis of his/her original thoughts or ideas. This will help students to develop so many skills like reading, writing, analyzing, imagining, creativity and many more.
The teacher's response and assessment should focus on the student's active engagement, understanding, and application of knowledge, rather than merely the use of AI. Clear communication, specific guidelines, and thoughtful evaluation can ensure a fair and meaningful assessment of the student's work.
