The collection was made in August 2016 on a treelet, c. 2m high bearing fruits but not flowering in the meanwhile.

Habitat : In periodically inundated forest among Rizhophoraceae and other mangrove trees.

Annot : Petiole triangular, thickened. Stipules, bifoliolate. Leaflets, olivaceous above, darker when dried, coriaceous to chartaceous. Pods, indehiscent, chartaceous, one-seeded, winged, bearing a spine at tip facing down (geotropism?).

I believe the specie belongs to Dalbergioid clade and perhaps nested into Pterocarpeae subtribe. A kind of Platymiscium ?
