TERATHANE is a polyether glycols that depending on MW can be liquid or waxy that melt to a viscous liquid at near room temperature, given it is a dihydric alcohol it can undergoes the reactions typical of the hydroxyl group. e.g. esterification with carboxylic acids and formation of urethanes with isocyanates or reaction with acrylic acids resulting in the addition of a vinyl group that can be crosslinked. In both scenarios the viscosity may increase.
