I want to transform my wrfoutput, in netcdf format, from lcc projection to mercator using python?

I have run wrf and get output in netcdf format. The projection of wrfout files is lambert conformal while I want to reproject these files into mercator. I am using python for data processing, so if anyone having any idea to do this using python.
