exactly that's what I mean there is no way to predict earthquakes when you depend on plate tectonic theory concepts but if you changed your mind and your believe from this unchangeable dogma you can find many ways to prediction.

After more than half a century of accepting plate tectonic theory I think It's time to questioning and discussing this theory in order to understand more precisely the nature of the Earth cause this theory has become complicated and distorted since its birth? the question is not whether plate tectonics exist, but how to explain it Each new fact forces us to invent a new complication, a new hypothesis that once again saves the basic theory from destruction. It's time to abandon dogmas and step back to the basics, rethink all geotectonic theories for their conformity to facts. This is the trouble that some scientists have no doubt, Doubt is the basis of science. For somebody playtectonics are no a science, but a religion. Therefore, officials from science do not allow "heretics" with their inconvenient facts in highly rated journals and oral reports. Is it frightening that air castles suddenly dissipate under the pressure of facts? The hypothesis must get modified as our understanding grows and we access new observations. As a scientist we need to have an open mind and not make our theories dogma or religion. The origin of plate tectonic theory from Wegener’s theory of continental drift years Early in the 20th Century, Alfred Wegener (1880-1930) also proposed that the continents at one time had been united, but subsequently had separated and drifted through the ocean floor to their present positions. Wegener’s theory of continental drift was systematically ignored for fifty years. Finally, after half a century of silence, debate erupted in the 1960s. Alfred Wegener’s idea of continental drift re-emerged, cast into a new form called plate tectonics theory, with more detail and with new supporting observational data (J. Marvin Herndon, 2005).

Despite the fact that tectonic plate theory presented a possible solution to the problem of the origin of mountains at a time when existing explanations were seriously in doubt. but there are many important questions need answers the number one question, based on this theory the Earth’s mantle is convicting in an endless loop, Convection is assumed to take place in the mantle as solid-state flow instead of liquid-state flow. is there any indication at the Earth’s surface of the formation of convection cells? And are there any findings or evidences from new research papers of mantle convection, we obviously don't have direct access to the Mantle (except to some mantle derived magmas and xenoliths) and a lot of what we know is based on seismic tomography and numerical models. but if we accept convection current a heat convection or a magma flow going up would simply melt the crust and not push it. Think about the size of some huge plates, Simple physical laws, according to which long-distance plate movements are impossible (for example, the ratio of energy and mass, the presence of friction, the solid state of the mantle), are simply "forgotten”. Asthenosphere / Low velocity zone is not a continuous across earth similar to another mantle discontinuity. so, there is no ready-made molten material on which lithosphere can move!! convection model is under question. Roots of most of cratons reach 600 km to 700 km into mantle. So, if lithosphere has to move, cratons need to plough through mantle!!

David Pratt in his research article Plate Tectonics: A Paradigm Under Threat on 2000 states that lithosphere has a highly complex and irregular structure. Far from being homogeneous, "plates" are actually "a megabreccia, a 'pudding' of inhomogeneities whose nature, size, and properties vary widely" (Chekunov, Gordienko, and Guterman, 1990, p. 404). The crust and uppermost mantle are divided by faults into a mosaic of separate, jostling blocks of different shapes and sizes, generally a few hundred kilometers across, and of varying internal structure and strength. Pavlenkova (1990, p. 78) concludes: "This means that the movement of lithospheric plates over long distances, as single rigid bodies, is hardly possible. I want to ask those geologists who insist to prove that no rocks older than 200 million years (Jurassic) have ever been found in the oceans, well thousands of rocks of Paleozoic and Precambrian ages have been found in the world’s oceans, large areas of continental crust such as Bald Mountain at 45°N on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, which has an estimated volume of 80³ km and appears to be of Proterozoic age see (Dickins et al., 1992; Choi et al., 1992; Choi, 1999, 2001) there must be great efforts to drill the ocean floor to much greater depths to see whether there are more older sediments beneath the basalt layer.

Again, we must look deeper and questioningly to plate tectonic theory? If the Earth is not getting any larger, then what is happening to all that seafloor that is plunging downward? I mean the observed basalt rock, which erupting from the mid-oceanic ridges, and creep slowly across the ocean basin to subduct. And also because of associated frictional sliding on faults and colder temperatures of earth's crust (most brittle part of the earth) the large and great earthquakes can occur there which has many fault systems. The subducting slabs Earthquakes the parts of the tectonic plates that are being pushed down into the earth, the depths of These slabs are 700 km. the higher temperatures at these depths make rock softer It is not yet understood how frictional sliding can occur there? I do not know the geotectonic concept explaining all existing facts. But I am convinced that the time for the replacement of the plate tectonic paradigm is approaching, since it is also chronically unable to explain all the facts.

So, it is still the same. In resume, plates move, tectonic environments exist, tectonic forms rocks well with the theory. But what makes it all happens is still a mystery!

The earthquake prediction problem is now completely solved. Next to seismic waves that we all know, there exist another type of so called tectonic waves or strain waves, discovered already in 20th century by predominantly Russian physicists, for example, Nikolajevskiy and Ramazanov, and many others. Today we know that tectonic waves are non-linear solitary waves (solitons) that travel with velocities ranging from 0 m/s - 6000 m/s. Their velocity is upward limited by the seismic waves. These tectonic waves cause formation of cascades of periodic and geometric series of earthquakes that we call the Omega-sequences. It appears that ALL earthquakes are interconnected on the global planetary scale through the long-range elastic interactions among parts of the lithosphere according to Bath's law. We now use these Omega-sequences to calculate the positions and velocities of tectonic waves on a daily basis. We then extrapolate the position of the tectonic waves into the future and earthquakes are defined by the interactions of the tectonic waves. It is very complicated, but this is not only some crazy theory. We indeed already have an automatic computer system T-TECTO Omega-Architect (owned by QuanTectum), which is capable of calculating 64-days Multi-Ensemble Earthquake Forecasts for entire Earth. QuanTectum is now in early stages. We are just entering the path that meteorology walks for decades. But at least we know it is the correct path.

I strongly recommend to study the Omega-Theory. Talking about the earthquakes and plate tectonics without understanding this theory is equally impossible as talking about the atoms without knowing the quantum physics or talking about cosmology without knowing the general relativity. The Omega-Theory is very difficult to understand, many will find impossible to understand it. But it works, and we have thousands of proofs for its reliability.

Of course, I still have to explain what causes the plate tectonics. Well, it is the tidal pull of the Moon and rotation of the Earth. There is possibly no convection in the mantle. The motor that drives the plate tectonics is external! The Omega-Theory supports the theory of polarised plate tectonics developed by Doglioni and Panza. The tidal pull of the Moon and rotation of the Earth causes shearing of the lithosphere on a daily basis. This shear strain is also constantly relaxed from the rocks via solitary tectonic waves that preferentially travel in the N-S direction from equator towards poles and vice versa. These are the D-waves discovered by Russian seismologists Guberman.
