What is your experiment about? Do you want a broad-spectrum/white light source, or is it better to have a single waveelngth (or narrowband output)? How important is stable intensity/spectrum over time, and each time it is used? Any constraints on cost? Also, you specify watts as an output criterion - is this input electrical power, or do you mean radiant power? Sorry to answer your question with so many additional questions, but it would be difficult to give a useful answer without a bit more information.
My experiment is related to photo Fenton-like process. Here i am gonna use visible region light. 15 watt is input electrical power. And Single wavelength light will be convenient for me. John D. Bullough
