W240 overlay alloy is used in "Techniques for Long Life Materials Applied to Continuous Caster Roll" article written by Y. Satoh et al.(Link below)
I think that is like 414 Martensitic SS but in other standard name. So, I am not sure about its composition.

Your link did not come through. Try searching for Tube-alloy 240-O, I'm guessing this is the trade name for the material.

Tubealloy 240-0 has much more Carbon and been used for Open-arc welding ...I don't think that is as same as W240 which has 0.08 percent Carbon and been used for SAW.
Regarding the chemical composition and the properties you can search in the materials data base CES from GrantaDesign, wich is now a worldwide refrence!
Thanks Alain Guillet. I found CES 2011 Edupack ... As I guessed and almost knew the composition and mechanical properties were close to 414SS but I still want to get exact and more information about W240 composition or other properties.
