“TINU” is a self-explanatory research outcome. I have been trying to work in a direction to design and develop an “Autonomous Robotic Vehicle (ARV)” [1] for the past six years. I thought I had got some good simulation results during my Post Graduation Dissertation. But after joining an R&D industry and doing some self introspection, I came to realize by now that I have not even started with ARV yet.I have learn Artificial Intelligence first. How does one learn AI with practical approach?
Alright. I am starting with ART (Autonomous Robotic Transporter).
Ok Shaunak , now that you know practically doing anything from scratch is not mantra. You learn as you work especially with newer technologies you interpolate your understanding since there are very very few (ground) truths.
Now , start with bottom-up approach , 2 major components Hardware + software
In Hardware -> Electronics {Power / signal transport / ...}
Mechanical -> esthetic/ material / load bearing
Electra-Mechanical -> agility / material ...
Secrete: Look at a toy (say remote car) and appreciate , not not its working but its design...
Software -> another story again a layer architecture for different functionality
PS- Less reading more working !!! Yeah now I see IEEE :)
