how can concepts in chemistry be indigenized to reduce misconception in the teaching and learning process of chemistry in secondary schools in Nigeria..?
One analogy that works in teaching chemistry for beginners is construction, say, of buildings. Atoms can be compared to building blocks that can hold together or fall apart if structure is unstable. Some need special conditions to be constructed properly. Some don't fit properly and don't connect well enough to hold together.
I'm not sure that Lego analogy would be an good for this use.
