The current (or MVA) limits of conductor are based on the material(s) of the conductor, their cross sectional area, and its layout. Therefore, the current limits are usually obtained as input data from manufacturers. Actually, for the same conductor, at least two current limits are realized; the normal steady state current limit and the abnormal transient current limit (for very short duration). The main study using such data is the security evaluation of pow

er systems, including contingency analysis, and corrective actions. Unfortunately, I do not have these detailed values for the NE 39 bus system, but you may search within the OTI ETAP forum about these data for that system or another system. Alternatively, you may search the RG or Google scholar using the following keywords: static security analysis of the NE 39 bus system. If you could not find the required details, you may assume a value for study purpose only. For example, you may set the MVA limit of various components as 130% of the base case loading conditions.

I believe that it is pretty hard to find the line limitation data from the system model. If you cannot find the source for the line limits you can run the model with the maximum loading conditions and make some assumption about the line limits such as 1.5 times of the loading conditions for the research purpose only. Other than that, when you deal with the real system you would definitely know such limits.
