I am researching on hydro-mechanical processes in deeper fractured crystalline (basement) rocks up to 2000 m depth below surface. For my research I compile hydraulic data (permeability and hydraulic conductivity data) from different sources (e.g. hydraulic/pneumatic packer testing, tracer testing). Especially data from 1000-2000 m below surface and from schistose rocks (from upper greenschist metamorphic facies/contact metamorphic equivalent and higher) are sparse. I have already a compilation of data stemming from publications of radioactive waste research in US, Canada and Europe. If you have references to other published data sets please let me know.
There is a data base available from the Soultz geothermal project dealing with granite. You may contact the project staff via http://www.geothermie-soultz.fr/campagne/.

Hi all, thank you for your responses. Soultz is quite an interesting site, but on-site hydraulic data is sparse (especially from natural conditions). And as some of my colleagues here were involved in researching Soultz boreholes I already have some data. In the SKB report are two more interesting site indeed (the other investigations I already reviewed). Thank you for this!

Hi Peter, zones of high permeability often stick to the areas where endogenous ring-type structure emerge. In this respect, an attached file may to some extent be useful for your research, at least qualitatively. One of the key implications is that rock mass in a ring-type structure zone may be highly non-uniform and high permeability areas may interleave with low permeability ones.

Also there is much data from the Koralm tunnel project in Austria, unfortunately nearly all unpublished. Some data compilation I could supply and I could get you in contact with the people who still have their hands on the data.
