For example, these applications include implants for cardiovascular system (artficial heart valves, stents) and teeth-jaw system (brackets for teeth fixation) based on memory effect in Ni-Ti alloys and some polymer (first of all, radiation-modified polyethylene, which has enough small friction coefficient) materials.
