Mix design and typical vales of strength and electrical conductivity would be help ful
The electrical conductivity is dependent on the porosity and pore structure of the concrete. My recent research indicated that the electrical conductivity/resistance is closely related to the permeability/impermeability of the concrete. In other words, improving the air or water impermeability would improve the electrical resistance. Basically, by using a low water/cementitious materials ratio and adding at least 5% condensed silica fume, we can substantially lower the electrical conductivity of the concrete. It should also be borne in mind that the moisture content has great effect on the conductivity. Keeping the concrete dry is important in achieving low conductivity.
The easiest way to increase electric resistance is to add polymer dispersions to the concrete - polymer modified concrete has high resistance - resistance increases with the amount of admixed polymer.
Ultra fine type F fly ash will also reduce the conductivity substantially.
I found that if we use fly ash we can reduce the conductivity. Take care with others properties.
