Net primary productivity, although available through satellite images and are commonly employed, but the validation with few of the case studies lacking. There is a need to evolve simple models for NPP estimates. Although DNDC, Daycent and other models cover this aspect directly/indirectly, but interested if anyone developed simple relations for estimating NPP on the basis of prime biotic/abiotic stress inputs.May be some simple excel/access based tool
