I am Bachelor 3rd year student. I am confused to go further in prioritize the areas to be worked upon. Or better solution to make mix of all of three to do research in electrical engineering.
Well, my immediate thought was, anything to do with "smart grid" research. It's still very much in its infancy, and I think it would incorporate all of your interest areas.
You would be interested in designing new algorithms for power system protection tasks. Also you can work on power quality definition of transient and steady state conditions in power systems.

To my previous post ..I would add nano robots .(mems. .nanoscience). All the subjects of interest mentioned would be useful in"wearable technology" as it needs power management and controls to succeed. With many added sensors in Tablets it seems one has many splendid opportunities . They are all part of disruptive technologies in the offing.. It is important to have long range vision so the unfolding opportunities are not missed..Check out some cool websites which tell you about these.. and zero in on one of them..
