Hi Nigel - as way of a nice, quite fun way to look at the law-making process, have a look at Fuller's 'Eight Ways to Fail to Make Law'. It takes a look at the problems of law-making and the resultant legal uncertainty. It's a short article and the allegory works well.
Are you looking at any particular perspective of LASPO? My colleagues and I have looked at this briefly from the point of view of university law clinics to take some of the strain following the loss of funding - especially in refugee family reunion applications.
