Sounds interesting project. Would like to see any published work if available
I guess that it may be related to the neuroplasticity. The brain can become more adaptable to learning.
It takes a good listener to learn two languages and if teaching and learning to go down well with the learner this person have to be a good listener and if that happens this person will do well in two or more subjects depending also on the interest.
