Suppose you have a footage of a bird flying by flapping in a fixed frame recorded by a single camera. Is there any library/software which, given assumptions on distance, size and angle, could extract useful information from it?
It would be great to automatically retrieve an estimation of 3D motion (velocity/acceleration) and body kinematics (flapping frequency/amplitude).

i‘ve used the Matlab computer vision toolbox in the past. I think I could work for your application.

we have not managed to test your solution which seems to involve only face detection. We are starting to have some success with Blender though.
You can try to check the thing called "Pose estimation". There are NNs which can perform the task like this. For example, take a look at this article
