I am doing my thesis on RF MEMS varactor. I just want to know about devices which are digital and require less than 5 voltage like if i talk about radio then how rf mems Varactor is used in radio as radio is example of digital communication systems.
The power supply voltage VDD is scaled as the MOS transistors are scaled down in size. So, every technology node has its suitable operating voltage which gets smaller with minimum feature size reduction. The most advanced MOS transistor with sub 100 nm channel length operate at a voltage of 1.2V
The varactors are used in tuning of the voltage controlled oscillators which are considered analog devices.

You can use low voltage varactor diodes to build tuned voltage controlled oscillators and and tuned LC filters.
