try DSS. It is more easier than adoptive transfer and more stable than TNBS
Many models:
For rabbit Immunocomplex administration + bowel irrritation with ethanol or formaldeide
In rats Dextran or TNBS, etc...
Please I am looking for plants that used in folk medicine as antiviral.
Also used oxazolone to induce IBD n m also doin work on same disease... And i m inducin it by TNBS n Oxazolone model in rats..
but acetic acid may be causes chronic damage so mortality may also increases.... i m starts my oxazolone induced model from tomorrow... And which parameters are you goin to measure????
May be induced by Pathological Infections, Surgery,Application of Stress. For these models refer to the below articles.

Administration of Acetic Acid also can cause IBD.
Capsicum extract cause IBS. But if you give large amount animal will die for that you need to do dose finding.

Platelets and WBC count but total blood profile to check effect on others...

you can go for DLC and check the number of neutrophils relative percentage so that it can be correlated with the myeloperoxidase estimated in the intestine
I use both 5% DSS and DNBS in rats, concentartion and doses depens from species (rat, mouse) and strains...

There are many different animal models of IBD, which they are valuable and necessary tools to provide further options for investigating factors of IBD pathogenesis and to evaluate different therapeutic solutions. Dextran Sodium Sulphate (DSS)-Induced colitis model has some advantages in comparison with others ex: Simplicity, similarity of human IBD and acute, chronic or relapsing model which can produce easily by changing the concentration of DSS and cycles in mice and rats.
There different ways, depending on the model. In rabbit, typically by immuno-complex administration IV and formalin instillation in the colon-rectum by anal route. In mice and rats by Trinitrobenzen silfonic acid instillatoon in the rectum-colon, etc....
