Some conferences in computer science require a long abstract (~ 800 - 1000 words) to be submitted and allows for figures, tables, etc. Writing such an abstract is the key of getting the paper accepted or not.
So what are the best strategies to use for writing a strong abstract?
Abstract play an important role and its denotes the quality of the paper. The best abstract is the summary of full paper with covers all the important aspect of the paper. We should give intro , methodolgy and conclusion part only.
The research abstract gives a brief summary of the report which includes: the objective or problem under study, the instruments used, the brief overview of the methods or procedures used such as (the data-gathering techniques , intervention procedures) , the summary of the major findings or results of the study and conclusions reached by the researcher. It is noted that professional journals usually specify the length of the abstract while others require brief that are no longer than 100 words. The best strategy therefore highlights the major points in each subsequent section of the report. And appears before the full research report.

A good Abstract is not in the length but in the quality i.e containing the required components: short intro, method, outcome and conclusion.
