Scan the literature carefully and try to find the literature gap. Write the strong and weak points of all the research papers. Try to give a direction towards a new research area and it would be better if you will write a critical review. Your paper must have unsolved problems, difficulties, and suggestions for future works. Writing good review paper entails a lot of work. You would have read all literature up to date on the topic of interest that you want to review and you must be able to harvest what they have done in term of research focus, methodology, major contributons and others. You could from there summarise and bring in your own purpose or contribution for reviewing.
