My goal is to diffuse PEG inside the pores of a substrate and freeze it somehow. One way I thought it could be done is by crosslinking a low molecular weight PEG (PEG-200) using a hydrogen abstracting agent Benzophenone. But post UV curing, my final crosslinked PEG remains a clear liquid. I was wondering if there was any other way to do this. The diffusion process into the substrate takes close to 24  hours, so I want the reaction to initiate either by UV or at higher temperatures so that the PEG stays liquid while diffusing into the substrate.
