As stated in NAMD tutorial it is presently beyond the capability of the Psfgen tool to generate the PSF file needed to perform a simulation using the Drude model. So how can we generate suitable files and how to add the polarizable force filed to NAMD config files ?

You need to prepare the PSF and coordinates using CHARMM (you can also use CHARMM-GUI). The NAMD Drude options are here:
