Hi all,
I am now having trouble in finding any relevant articles talking about the manufacturing protocol of lithium ion battery. The thing is that I know from many sources that lithium carbonate/hydroxide/phosphate can be used to make lithium ion battery. But there is few information to tell me how. Supposing now I have these lithium salts, what should I do to make use of these salts and make my own lithium batteries? Any references you all could share with me?
Let's take LiCoO2 as the end product as an example.

The use of these precursors most likely requires a calcination or annealing step to drive away the volatile components and crystallize the oxide phase. Mixing, drying, and annealing precursors is enough to get you a battery material, but the processing parameters can affect product morphology and chemistry, which affects your battery performance.
