I have got S-Parameter with frequency 700MHz to 3GHz from VNA，and i want use ifft in matlab to get the time domain of the data，but the start frequency is not 0Hz，i learned from some paper that i should use zero-padding to the raw data. so what should i do exactly? The picture below is what i have got in matlab.

Hey Jingfeng,Shan,
Get the indexing correct for the collected data. The index 1 (i.e. start_index) should correspond to 700 MHz and (start_index + number of points ) should correspond to 3 GHz in your Matlab code . Once you do this correctly, you need to perform IFFT by using a proper window on the complex signal to get the time response. Use IFFT Shift if required.
