I want to draw a geographic map of the plant viruses so anyone who is an expert in using GenGis software how it works or how to draw a geographic map in GenGis. What would be the input data?
Did you look through all the pages of the https://beikolab.cs.dal.ca/gengis/Main_Page web site, follow all the links? Did you work through the tutorials and samples? Did you down load open the data files for those and examine the formatting? INRE: "What would be the input data" - Did you read the manual, especially the section https://beikolab.cs.dal.ca/gengis/The_GenGIS_2.5_Manual#Input_data which describes the data formats and has entries like "3. Sequence File (sample)"? And "Basic data visualizations".
"Anyone who is an expert" is not beside you looking at your screen or have any notion of what you have tried or where you might have run into a road block. Or know your experience level, i.e. if you have used any GIS, know Python, or even if you are on Windows or a Mac. So your probability of getting a useful reply from an expert exponentially increases with the more background and detail you provide, and the more targeted the request.
