We have been facing a contamination problem of our cell lines and we can not use the sterilisation cycle of the incubator, so we decided to try formaldehyde KMnO4 fumigation for our incubator as it is the only source of contamination we found after investigation, I know the concentrations I should use for the fumigation, and I need to leave the heat on during the procedure.. But what about CO2? Should I turn it off? Sorry if this is a basic question, I am totally new to this.
