I have calculated 4-particle eigenstates for my system which is Hubbard type 4-site model, analytically. All sites in the model are distinct, I am interested in two particular sites for which I have to calculate correlation between the two while the remaining system is integrated out. My problem is that I do not know how to integrate out (Trace out). The eigenstates are in second quantized form(operator notation). Can anyone suggest me a tutorial which explains step by step whole procedure?

The usual anticommutation rules for Fermi creation and annihilation operators should help. Please refer to the well-known book: Quantum Mechanics of Many-Particle Systems by A. Fetter and J. Walecka (1971).
