I was fortunate to study in St. Xavier's College, Kolkata. This is one of the best colleges in India. In that college, there were two world famous professors of Political Science. They were Professor Kushal Kumar Sengupta and Professor Sunanda Mazumdar. Though, I was not a student of Political Science, I was close to Professor Kushal Kumar Sengupta. He once told me that the biggest problem of democracy is that decisions are reached at in this type of a format through long discussions. Thus, democracy is a time consuming process. I smiled back and told him that most of the world is not democratic. Then why do most of the world take such a long time in reaching at a quick decision. He was a knowledgeable man. He smiled back and said that democracy is fashionable. So, even those parts of the world who are not democratic, they try to behave as if they are democratic. Hence, they consume a lot of time in reaching at a decision. I was amazed to get this perspective from the professor.
Now, I am in my forties. I have realized that what was said by the late professor, is correct. So, we have made the world in such a way where we cannot take urgent safety actions, however serious may be the issue.

Stephen, I had same thought throughout Blair time and I often wrote even on back of envelopes on the way back of school-run, and posted in letter box near my house .
Stephen, my Mr Miah expressed his worry, scared of likelihood of misunderstanding for the others manipulation and misleading of twists, as well my thoughts and his fear everything turned out true. We suffered., my sons their father Mr Dolo Miah and the worse suffering I had endured, Mr Dolo Miah is know coward, fear of wrong consequences, does not create scape-path to right consequences.

After Twin Tower attacks, war on terror was declared. And people UT UK Prime Minister Mr Blair was too anxious over medical idealism and extreme. BBC 24 channel was a source on 24 hours repeated every speech of the Ministers at the Parliament.
I was off work, at home being a brother of a baby and a toddler.
It was very shocking for , me as I had a little triple girly like panic attitudes. It was became to be known UK is under threat. .
This killed me. My neighbours and women friends from school -run group, they were focusing on, as they know I was panic. And my Bangladeshi community of my late fathers, my mother's friends and father in laws and mother in laws circle of known people all were keeping asking about me, my well beings.
I was at a distance from them.

On the 7 of July 2005 London after all was bombed by UK home grown radicalised British Muslims. It was sad and confusing, extremely shocking. I became too ill.

About me, Stephen, I was from London daughter who Mr Ali, married to Dolo Miah of Birmingham, and we settled up in Solihull we made our family I mean raising our children, two sons.
Parents circle/community groups/ the known people were there in London and some of husbands were in Birmingham. We both were adored by all of both siders and so our sons were their pride of joy.
The tension over 9/11 and the lingering fear of 7/7 was I deed scary, worrying for both sides. Both siders worried for me and the children because they felt I was alone with boys mean the baby and a toddler.
