In principle it will be a very simple nitration reaction.
Considering that the 5-position is meta to the deactivating (m-directing) acetyl group and para to the strongly activating (o,p-directing) hydroxyl group, a direct nitration (with sulfuric and nitric acids) will result in the desired product with no significant side reactions.
Use a normal procedure to nitrate aromatic compounds. Considering that the starting material is a solid (is it?), an inert solvent should be used; maybe an alkane (if soluble) or acetone.
