How to spatially scale anisotropic properties in ABAQUS?

In ABAQUS, I need an efficient way of applying a scale factor to the elastic properties of an anisotropic material. The magnitude of the scale factor is spatially dependent and will be computed by a Python script. I have found from the ABAQUS manual an example that shows how to define a “Distribution” of one elastic modules and one Poisson’s ratio. In need to do this but for an anisotropic material. Please let me know if you have a suggestion.
