I am working on drilling simulation on ABAQUS as my thesis analysis
I have problem with running the job which exits because of the following errors;
396 nodes have dof on which velocity/displacement/acceleration/base motion etc. constraints are specified simultaneously. The nodes have been identified in node set ErrNodeBCRedundantDof.
Analysis Input File Processor exited with an error.
please any one can understand where I may have made a mistake and how to solve it. I really appreciate your answers.

start with a distorted mesh that goes into regular mesh during deformation
Abhimanyu Kumar I have solved some of my problems and run the job, but I could not make the contact between the drill bit and work piece.
Check abaqus example manual, there's a problem projectile eroding a plate...that should help you :)

There is a nice tutorial also for the example you say in youtube, but I could not get solutions for my problems there. Actually I have solved the problem I have asked for and have improved it. Now some times the drill bit turns in reverse which I can not rearrange the turning direction which I believe it will solve the problem. And sometimes the drill bit just passes through the work piece without cutting it.
