Well I'm working on passive radars , using fm broadcasting signal generated by simulink (matlab) (pic1 and pic11) (reference signal), I wrote a code in oder to calculate probability detection (GLRT detector), the problem that my pd generated by Montecarlo doesnt match with the theoritical one (pic2). For monte carlo method I have to generate the surveillance signal and I need amplitudes ( complex ones).

I used first : sigt(:,k)=sqrt(snrt(k)).*u(:,k) ;

snrt :is the SNR of each target "k"; U is the refrerence signal delayed and frequency shifted , I obtained "pic2"

I repeat the same oeration for every clutter (11 clutters) and for the target of interest

when I used your formula : sigt(:,k)=sqrt(0.5*snrt(k)*var(noiseSurv)/var(y)).*u(:,k); I taake var(noiseSurv) =1;

I obtained : "pic 3"

Really can't see where is the problem!!

If you can help me , It would be nice!

You can notice another problem that i have to go high in SNR to have an acceptable probability of detection in contrary to references (pic5)
