I am doing my Bachelor’s Undergraduate Research on inundation mapping on the Nilwala River, Sri Lanka using the RRI model. But I am still struggling to operate the RRI model. I am a bit confused about setting the RRI model control file. (RRI_Input.txt). I have mentioned those below. It will be highly appreciable if you could clarify those with your ideas and if you are able to assist my project.

1. L10- Is the simulation hour means a number of hours processing this in CMD. Can we give any number of hours for this?
2. L11 & L12- Can we use the default values for our simulation or is there any method to identify these values.
3. L13- What is this output number means. If I am run for one month (30 days) and if I need to see the inundation for each date (I mean from hs output folder by using output files converting gif from Gnuplot tool) do I need to set the outnum as 30. For the preliminary simulation, I did use these values and I can’t recognize what are the dates of these outputs since they display as 000001 to 000096.
And also, is there any method to get the exact date of flood inundation that I want as an ASCII file since there is only one option for getting ASCII format for maximum inundation. As I have satellite images, not for the maximum inundation, I need to get the exact date I want for the Calibration and Validation purpose.
4. L38-How to identify the threshold value and need to know how to get discharge data for all the days of simulated for an exact location. (Like in output come from GUI in an excel file)
